YPI - Connecticut Summer Arts Camp

The October 2007 event was a big success! Thank you! Look for another gather in 2008.

YPI will begin its 28th season in 2008. Over the past 27 years, YPI has helped more than 3,000 young people discover and develop their talents as writers, artists, musicians, dancers and actors. We are looking forward to another sellout summer at the Westover School in Middlebury, CT and we need your help to continue the YPI success story. Today our journey is more important than ever.

Your generous contributions over the last few years have helped fund many youngsters who would not have been able to attend but for your help and generosity. These young people have enhanced our program and have gone on to give back to their community.

But we want to do more.

Here is how you can help.

• A tax deductible gift can underwrite financial aid for a deserving young person.
• A gift-in-kind for supplies and materials will help defray the operating costs of YPI. Call if you can donate any items as well. I can send a list or call you with details.
• A monetary donation to assist YPI in the creation of an endowment to insure YPI’s growth. We have found a site for YPI South in Florida and we are working on a place to hold YPI West in California.

We are grateful for the gifts and the commitment to YPI that has been demonstrated in so any ways over the past three decades. Please consider a donation to assure YPI continues to offer opportunities for creative young people in the coming years.

What greater mission can one undertake than to help young people learn to understand themselves and one another? What greater gift can one bestow on inquiring minds than the chance to strike the creative spark within and illuminate the world around them?
