Do you want to build your own blog? Or send the world a-Twitter? In this holistic multimedia workshop, you will craft your own online literary voice by creating blogs, websites, and customizing other digital platforms. With an emphasis on the creative process, this workshop will improve your abilities as a non-fiction author and online journalist. Students will compose both bite-size and long-form non-fiction stories drawing from the world around them while designing and developing their own space on the web in which to share them. We will practice several non-fiction genres including news reporting, personal reflection, journalistic photography, and memoir. By week’s end, you will build an online portfolio of work that can be shared across the web!
