Young artists will manipulate simple solid materials to create and familiarize themselves with form and space in three dimensions. Exploring both additive and subtractive techniques students will model and carve clay, experiment with a pottery wheel, create 3-D objects from wire and build constructions using a variety of traditional and non-traditional materials.
